In the last post I demonstrated that whatever we think about, we tend to notice or attract. Be it in a positive (I want riches) or negative (I do not want to be poor) way does not really matter. What matters is what we think about.

So the next few posts will be about how to think about what we really want and not to think about what we do not want. To do this, a few basic skills needs to be mastered and a few steps need to be followed.

First of all, we need to decide what we want for ourselves. This sounds obvious, but now is maybe the right moment to think about it.
Mr. Watlles learns us that what we we ask for should be definite and clear. He gives the good example of getting a present. Let us suppose, he says, that we are asked what present we want to get. And we respond with: “well, I want something big, but I really do not know what”. What are the chances of us getting what we really want? Close to zero.
The same applies when we try to bring our wish into manifestation out of the formless thinking stuff. If we make it concrete, like a new house or ‘one million dollar’, we can start working towards our goal.

Once we decided what we wanted, we need to stick to it. If wee keep changing our mind, nobody will takes us seriously. Let alone that we will get whatever we wan at that particular moment. The analogy of the present also applies here: if we ask for a book, two minutes later for a Cd and half an hour later for a good bottle of wine, we will end up getting a pair of socks (let’s face it, if you ask for a million dollar, you do not want to end up getting a pair socks).
So continuity is an important factor. It is another good reason to sit down and decide on what we really want. We will be trying to get it for some time, so we better invest some time in our thinking process.

I believe that a big part of the secret indeed lies in here: to be faithful to our endeavor. This gives us a sense of purpose and will open our eye to opportunities that lead to the fulfillment of our desire.
