Prove "The law of attraction" for yourself.

Filed Under (course) by admin on 22-09-2007

Everybody talks about the law of attraction: to attract what we want and avoid attracting what we do not want. The main reason for this, we are told, is that the thing we concentrate on (either in a positive or a negative way, will come to us.
Usually, this is given as a axiom. As something that we just need to accept without thinking too much about.

But this law can easily be demonstrated by a simple experiment. Just follow the instructions lined out below and be prepare to be amazed.

For the next couple of minutes, try to spot as many red items as you can. Look around in the room and try to find as many red items as possible. Really concentrate and try to not overlook one of them. Maybe go outside and see what happens there. Can you spot red items? Like cars, dresses, sign posts?

What are your findings?

Most probably, you will have noticed that there are a lot more red items than you ever conceived of. You started noticing red items that you passed by every day without noticing. And suddenly, there they are, all these wonderful red items.

Now, let us look at the opposite: do the same exercise, but try not to notice any red items at all. Avoid them at all cost. Look again in the room and then go out, just like you did in the first experiment.

What did you notice?

Is there any difference? Not a lot. You noticed a lot of red items on your way. Most probably as much as in the first experiment.

So what do these little experiments tell us? When you’re mind is set on something, you start to notice it more and more. But when you try to avoid something, you notice the things you wanted to avoid, much in the same way as when you concentrated on the things you wanted to see..

So if you want to attract riches, you have to start thinking rich and the opportunities will appear (well, they were always there, but you will start noticing them). But if you think the opposite: I do not want to be poor, you will attract just that: being poor.

Be well. Be rich. Be great.
