The Summary disected: Part2

A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.

Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.

Here the suggestion that the ‘thinking stuff’ is astral or mental matter is enhanced. In esotericism it is believed that all proceeds from the higher dimensions to the lower ones. So first an idea is conceived in the mental plane and then cast to the astral to finally take shape in the physical plane.
Everybody that visits the astral plane also confirms that whatever is thought has the tendency to materialize immediately in the astral realms. The experience in dreams confirms this, albeit indirectly. And only if one is able to remember ones dreams.

Also, many people claim that thoughts, like Wattles suggests, thought in the astral with the aim of gain in the physical, have a tendency to quickly realize.

Why is it so important to have some name or tag to attach to this ‘thinking stuff’.
This is simply the way my brain works: I can start ‘believing’ in the thinking stuff way easier when this is not a concept that stands alone. When independent thinkers or practical experimenters reached the same or similar conclusions.
Wallace tell us that faith is one of the cornerstones of the method (this will be discussed later). Howdoes one grow faith? Not by blind belief. Samael Aun Weor already pointed to this. Faith grows by direct experience. By seeing that the method works. Even at a small scale, little by little. But a start needs to be made. the ‘mustard seed’ must be present as the Bible states. Then it can grow when watered with direct experience.

Identifying the ‘thinking stuff’ as the astral or mental plane and making cross references is my mustard seed.
