4 fun exercises to attract riches

While reading ‘The secret’ by Rhonda Byrne, I came across a few fun exercises to try. I will try to implement some of them. I will put them up here for reference.

  • The first exercise consist in saying ‘I can afford this because I have enough money’ to just about anything you would like to buy. This confers the impression of wealth to the universe. I think this will be a fun exercise to do: just see and with sincere gratitude KNOW that you can get whatever you want because you are already rich. Just pretend and after some time you will believe in it.
  • The second exercise is to imagine that you get cheques in the mail. Or when you get bills, imagine that they are cheques. As I do most payment online and never receive cheques anyway I think I will just try this one for fun. To see if google adsense or some affiliate program will send me a check. It might be interesting.
  • Third is to start the day by saying thank you, in yourself or aloud, from the moment that you wake up until you have finished in the bathroom to wash and get dressed. This is one that I will definitely try. The problem is to remember doing the exercise. For this I will need to put in place some triggers.
  • The last exercise is an exercise of visualization. At night, when you go to sleep, review your day (which by the way is a very good exercise to learn to visualize) and stop when something went not according to plan. Then play the scene again, but imagine that now the situation is exactly as you wished it to be. Then be happy for this nice urn around and grateful for it to have happened. In this way we send out a powerful message to the universe on how we would like things to go in the future.

I hope you will enjoy these exercises. And remember to do them in a cheerful and playful way. Do not strain and stay happy and grateful.

  1. Hi Olivier,
    This is a great post. I use a similar gratitude/appreciation technique but I usually do it at night. As I fall asleep, I think of all the thinks I’m grateful for. I also do a quick mental replay of my day (just to empty the “mental debris” from the day’s events so it doesn’t clutter up my dreams), but I haven’t tried your suggestion of visualizing the scenes as I would’ve liked them to be. That’s a very good suggestion. I think I’ll try that tonight. :-)

  2. Yes, I am now concentrating on the gratitude. It makes me real good I must say.

    The retrospection is something I used to do a lot in the past (30 minute sessions) and it really helped me with dream recall. The visualization is a ‘law of attraction’ technique. Visualize the day as you wanted him to be and you will attract just that.
