An anecdote on the law of attraction

When I first heard about ‘the law of attraction’, I found the idea absurd. I did not believe it.
But now, that I read some more on this strange law, it got me thinking. I already posted an article on how to prove this law for yourself, but today, an anecdote jumped to the front of my head.
I was 2à or 21 years old when I won a prize. It was a course on how to control the car when it was slipping, for instance on icy or wet roads.
We drove a car on a slippery road and were then told to avoid some obstacles. Every one of us slipped! The teacher showed us that it was possible (without telling us how) and we retried. But to no avail.
And then he told us “The secret” 
We were told not to concentrate on the obstacles that we should avoid, but on the safe way through. They conveniently put a sign on which we could fix our gaze while driving through the obstacles.
And the suddenly all of us could safely drive through. Something that was impossible before.
These people teaching us used the law of attraction in a very particular case. Even without knowing what it was called. This proves once more that many people intuitively feel the truth of this law.
And I must confess that I also begin to believe in its power.
