My Pagerank was multiplied by ifinity (and then added 1)

Ha yes, I had a pagerank of 0 to start with, and now it went to 1.
If you want to check your own PageRank and get some nifty tools to display on your own blog, you can visit the CheckPageRank site.

After I saw my pagerank update, I tried to see how many of my pages were indexed. As It turns out, I only
have 10 pages indexed (out of the 60+ on the blog. Moreover, checking the backlinks in google turned up nothing. The same search with yahoo gives me 100+ entries.

So I am very happy about my new pagerank as it will certainly add value to the site, but I fear that my pageviews will not go up very much. Well, tomorrow is another day (and a nw pagerank update in a few months).

   If you haven’t done so already, check out Google Webmaster Tools. If your site’s not being fully index, this will help. If it is, this will give you far better information how Google sees your site than simply searching for yourself will.

   Yes, I use it but I guess Google is not too eager on indexing pages. And now that I checked it again, I see that I need to do some tweaking. Thanks for reminding me.
   I now also use the Google xml sitemap plugin for WordPress. This should help things along also.
