4 things that give me lots of energy

I’ve been neglecting the ‘Be well’ section of this blog. Actually, I never wrote anything about it. I have had, in the past, trouble with energy. I was tired although I slept enough and never knew why. I have been researching the net for solutions, especially those in the alternative medicine section.

And you find a lot you should do. Really a lot. But after experimenting with what works for me, here I offer you the top 4 things I found helped in my particular case. If you want to find out more, you can check the sites of the health ranger, dr. Mercola or John Barron. All three sites have a huge collection of articles. Moreover, the health ranger and John Barron have ebooks that are well worth reading.

And now on to my list:

1) Water

Yes, everybody says we should drink at least 1.5l of pure water. And it is true. it really works. Apparently, many people (more than 50%) are dehydrated without even noticing it. This is why we should drink regardless if we are thirsty. I noticed that when I drink more, I start to notice the thirst again. i guess that is a good sign.

2) Exercise

Nothing gives me more energy than exercise.In my case it is intense competition sports like badminton or squash. In the periods in my life where I was not able to sport, I felt down without even noticing. it is only when I started sporting again that I remarked I felt much more happy. Now I seldom miss my weekly sports appointment.

3) Chlorella

This is some algae like spirulina. It is packed with vitamins and is natural. I tried some vitamin pack from the store or the pharmacist, but they just don’t seem to do it for me. But when I take some chlorella in the morning, I really sense the difference about an hour later. Moreover, this is a well researched and documented algae and its properties are well known.

4) Meditation

This is also well documented and it indeed works in my case. If I start my meditation tired, I come out well refreshed. Like a cat nap. It really gives me a real energy boost.

Since I try to combine these 4 items, I have far less problems with energy. I need less sleep and get up more refreshed in the morning. They work for me, so they might work for you.
