Car accidents and the law of attraction.
Filed Under (personal experience, proof) by admin on 07-02-2008

Many people use ‘the law of attraction‘ in an intuitive way. A good example of this is the way you are taught to behave when your car starts slipping.
Years ago, I won a course in in what we in Belgium call ’slip school’. In this school one is taught how to react when the road is slippery and/or your car gets out of control.
They followed a quite strange procedure: 2 students were put in a car, together with an instructor, and were told to try to go over a wet track on which 2 obstacles were placed. We were also explicitly to avoid those obstacles. I cannot remember exactly, but in my memory, we all spun the car around. Several times, up to the point where we became a bit nervous for not getting the answer to this puzzle.
After being convinced that we could not do it, the instructor pointed us to a little sign at the end of the track, passed the 2 obstacles. He said: ”Now concentrate on this sign and try to steer towards it”. And the miracle happened! 9 out of 10 students cold now safely pass the obstacles.
So indeed, they use the law of attraction in an intuitive way. It is known since a long time that, when driving, we tend to go in the direction that we look. We do it every day: when you take a turn of 90 degrees, you just look wherever you want to go and your hands make the appropriate movements. Without a lot of conscious thought. We were thought how to do it, off course, but still. A lot is processed below our level of awareness. (update: actually, in the framework of the 7 laws of attraction, this correspond to the ‘law of paradoxical intent’)
This again is a striking example that we should always look at where we want to be and not at what we want to avoid. What is valid for driving a car is certainly valid in life. Look at where you want to go, and there you will go.
Be well. Be rich. Be great.
